In accordance with the provisions of the final paragraph of Article 9 of D.F.L. N*251, in relation to the
Article 10 of Law No. 18.045 on the Securities Market, and in Circular No. 991 of the Commission for
the Financial Market (the “Commission”), we communicate to you as Essential Fact of Zurich Chile
Seguros de Vida S.A. (the “Company”) the following:
In ordinary session held yesterday, January 31, 2023, in accordance with the provisions of
subsection 4″ of Article 32 of Law N*18,046 the Board of Directors agreed to appoint as Director of the
Company to Mrs. Valeria Schmitke, who took office immediately.
Doña Valeria Schmitke is a lawyer, she serves as General Counsel for Latin America of the
Zurich Group and has vast experience in the insurance market.
