Madam President of the Commission for the Financial Market,
By virtue of the provisions of articles 9 and 10 of the Securities Market Law,
and in my capacity as lawyer, director and duly empowered attorney, of the
company TRATACAL S.A., registration in the Register of Reporting Entities N2 171, informed
You that the evaluation commission of the public tender of the “Service of Integral Management of
Transportation, and Final Disposal of Sludge Generated in the PTAS Calama”, awarded the contract to
the company Acuanor S.A., RUT N*76.741.450-1, who started services on April 1. The
Award contract is in the process of being signed by the parties.
The contract was awarded at a base price of UF 1,383 per month, adjustable in
function of cubic metres of sludge transported, for a period of two years, extendable by a
Maximum of two additional periods.
Taking into account the total amount of the contract and in the case of a company
Relatedly, the Board of Directors has deemed it necessary to report this fact as essential.
It is made present that the power with which I act was conferred on me in the first
Board meeting dated January 23, 2007, whose minutes were reduced to a public deed with that
same date in the Notary of Santiago of Don Raúl Undurraga Laso, under the number repertoire
573-2007. Copy of said deed was accompanied to the entity in charge on January 24
of 2007, within the folder of records submitted when applying for voluntary registration, the
which was entered with the N2 2007010005403.
