Madam President:
By means of the provisions of Articles 9 and 10 of Law No. 18,045 on
Securities Market, and in accordance with the provisions of letter q) of Section |! 2.2.A of the Standard
of General Character N* 30 of the Commission for the Financial Market (“CMF”), I communicate to you, in
nature of essential information, which we have been notified by the National Economic Prosecutor’s Office (“FNE”)
of Exempt Resolution N? 544 dated September 29, 2022 (the “Resolution”), issued by the FNE
in relation to the appeals filed by Transbank S.A. (“Transbank”) on September 26,
2022 against Ordinary Letter N*1431 of the FNE dated September 22, 2022 (the “Office”).
By virtue of the Resolution, the FNE has clarified the scope and effect of the criterion expressed in the Official Letter, with
its content would not affect Transbank’s financial and operational viability.
The CMF will be informed of any resolution or communication of the FNE that may eventually
modify or negatively affect and in a relevant way what is indicated above.
