Madam President:
By means of the provisions of Articles 9 and 10 of Law No. 18,045 on
Securities Market, and in accordance with the provisions of letter q) of Section Il 2.2.A of the Standard
of General Character N” 30 of the Commission for the Financial Market, I inform you, in the capacity of
essential information, that on September 22, 2022, we were notified by the Prosecutor’s Office
National Economic (“FNE”) of Ordinary Office No. 1431 (“Office”): “Supervision of compliance with
Judgment Roll N*82.422-2021 of the Supreme Court / Roll N*2710-22 FNE / Transbank Letter of 23
August 2022″. By virtue of the Official Letter the FNE, in compliance with article 39 letter d) of DL N*211,
communicates that it considers that the rates that Transbank S.A. is applying from August 22, 2022
to businesses, PSPs, operators and issuers, do not fully comply with the obligations and criteria
established in Judgments Roll N*82.422-2022 and N*24.828-2021, nor in the Settlement of 2004.
Transbank S.A. will exercise the actions and resources that correspond in law to reverse or modify
the criteria of the FNE. The Commission for the Financial Market (CMF) will be informed of the final result
of such actions or remedies as soon as they become known.
