Madam President:
Pursuant to the provisions of Article 9 and the second paragraph of Article 10 of the Securities Market Law, the provisions of General Rule No. 30 of the Financial Market Commission, and being duly authorized, I hereby inform as an essential fact of Sociedad Química y Minera de Chile S.A., registered in the Securities Registry under number 184 (the “Company”), the following:
On this date, the Company’s Board of Directors agreed to pay an interim dividend equivalent to US$ 0.78760 per share, to be charged to the Company’s fiscal 2023 earnings. Such amount will be paid in its equivalent in Mexican pesos local currency according to the value of the Observed Dollar published in the Official Gazette of July 17, 2023.
The payment of this dividend will be made in favor of the shareholders, personally or through their duly authorized representatives, as of 9:00 a.m. on July 20, 2023. Shareholders of the Company who are registered in the respective registry on the fifth business day prior to the date of distribution shall be entitled to the aforementioned dividend.
