Madam President:
In accordance with the provisions of articles 9 and 10 of the Securities Market Law and
being duly authorized, I inform as an essential fact of Company
Química y Minera de Chile S.A, registered in the Securities Registry under number 184 (the
“Company”), the following:
As of today, the Board of Directors of the Company has unanimously agreed to recommend
to the next ordinary shareholders’ meeting of the Company to be held on April 26
of 2023, which distributes and pays, in accordance with the Company’s Dividend Policy, a
amount amounting to US$ 3.22373 per share, which the Company must pay to complete
the amount of USS 10.94060 as a final dividend under the aforementioned policy.
This definitive dividend already considers the first, second and third dividends
provisional of US$ 2.78716 per share, US$ 1.84914 per share and US$ 3.08056 per share,
respectively, which were paid during the year 2022.
The final dividend balance for business year 2022, is recommended to be paid in your
equivalent in pesos national currency according to the value of the observed dollar that
is published in the Official Journal of May 15, 2023, in favor of those
shareholders of the Company who are registered in the respective Registry the fifth
business day prior to the day on which it will be paid. These quantities shall be proposed.
