Dear Sir or Madam:
By means of the hereby, being duly empowered and giving fulfillment to the prescribed in the
Article 9″ and second paragraph of Article 10* of Law No. 18,045, in relation to the Character Norm
General No 30 of your Commission, I come to inform you of the following essential fact with regard to
My client and her business:
On this date, Decree No. 217 of the Ministry of Public Works was published in the Official Gazette.
by virtue of which the characteristics of works and services are modified, for reasons of public interest,
that indicates the Concession Contract of the fiscal public works called “North – South System”, and
approves Convention Ad – Referendum No 9.
This publication relates to what was reported by this Company as an essential fact, with
date October 8, 2021 regarding the subscription, dated October 7, 2021, between Company
Concesionaria Autopista Central S.A. and the Ministry of Public Works, of the aforementioned Ad Agreement
Referendum N’ 9, in the terms indicated in that communication.
According to what was reported on that occasion, the aforementioned Ad-Referendum Agreement would enter into
effective with the publication of the Supreme Decree that approves it.
Consequently, having operated this condition, Supreme Decree No. 217 of the Ministry of
Public Works, which enacts Convention Ad Referendum No 9, has entered into force.
The implementation of this project aims to increase the capacity and improve the quality of
connectivity of Route 5, especially with regard to the connections that exist in the sector
called “Knot Quilicura” and, with this, reduce the travel times of the users of the
route.
