Ref.: Reports deficits at the end of December 2022.
From our consideration:
By means of the present, and in accordance with the provisions of article 65 of D.F.L. 251, as well as
as indicated in N* 1.1.9 of Circular N* 991, articles 9 and 10 paragraph 2 of Law 18.045 and others
Relevant rules, is that by this act and duly authorized, I come to inform the following:
That at the end of December 2022 the Company presented an Investment Deficit
representing technical reserves and risk equity in the amount of MMS$7,512; deficit of
Net Worth over Risk Equity of MM$4,225. This situation implied that the Society
report a negative Equity of MM$1,065 and a negative Equity of MMS$901.
In view of the above, it is not possible to determine the ratios established in the regulations.
in effect. Likewise, at the end of December 2022, the Company has equity below
minimum established in article 7″ of DFL 251.-
The reasons that generated the reported deficits correspond, among other reasons, to the
High accident rate registered by the policies in the last reported periods, added to the
inability of the company to generate income since CMF Resolution No. 7,993, dated
December 02, 2022, which ordered the suspension of insurance marketing.
On the other hand, the Commission for the Financial Market approved on January 20
2023 the reform of bylaws by capital increase agreed by the Meeting on December 12,
2022, which must be paid within 80 business days from said agreement.
