Dear Sir or Madam:
In accordance with Article 9? and in the second paragraph of article 10 of the
Law N*18.045, and the provisions of General Rule N*30 and its
modifications, I inform -in the character of ESSENTIAL FACT- the following:
Minera Los Pelambres owned by Sociedad Antofagasta Minerals S.A.,
informed our subsidiary SCHWAGER SERVICE S.A. of the award of the derivative contract
of tender N* 1020118583, entitled “INTEGRAL MAINTENANCE SERVICE
PEBBLES PLANT AND GRAVEL.”
It is a contract under the modality of monthly lump sum according to compliance
of resources offered (according to Bases of payment measure) and Price Series
Unitary, with a price amounting to the sum of $ 12,631,741,458.- (Twelve thousand
six hundred thirty-one million seven hundred forty-one thousand four hundred
fifty-eight Chilean pesos), values plus VAT and for a period of 36 months,
counted from August 01, 2022.
This contract is expected to have a market return and be a contribution to the
results of the parent Schwager S.A., given that it has a 60% stake in
the shares of the subsidiary.
The working capital required for the proper execution of the contract indicated is
manage through available resources and, to a lesser extent, financing
banking, specifically for the purchase of some equipment and the guarantee slip for
faithful compliance for an amount of UF 10,335, equivalent to 8% of the annual value of the
contract.
