ESSENTIAL FACT
PRINCIPAL LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY CHILE S.A.
From our consideration:
In accordance with the provisions of Article 10 of Law No. 18,045, in relation to the provisions of the
subsection 2″ of article 9 of D.F.L N* 251 and in Section 1, numeral 1.1.4.1 of Circular N* 991, and
Circular N*660 both of the Superintendency of Securities and Insurance (today “Commission for the Market”
Financial”), and specially empowered by the Board of Directors, I comply with informing that in Session
Ordinary Board of Directors held on April 20, 2022, it was agreed to propose to the Board
Ordinary Shareholders, to be held on April 29 of this year, the payment of a dividend
Final of Ch$10,000,000,000.-, equivalent to Ch$2,388.8515.- per share, charged to profits
of the 2021 financial year.
The dividend payment will be effective on Thursday, June 23, 2022 to the holders of the
shares registered in the Shareholders’ Register on June 15 of this year, to the extent that
so approved by the Ordinary Shareholders’ Meeting.
