ESSENTIAL FACT
In accordance with the provisions of Articles 9 and 10 of Law N2 18,045, on the
Values; Article 46 of Law N2 18.046 on Corporations and Circular N2 1.737 of the
Commission for the Financial Market, Empresa Portuaria Iquique communicates as an Essential Fact the
next:
The Board of Directors of the Business System Committee (SEP) agreed to carry out the following
modifications to the Board of Directors of Empresa Portuaria Iquique:
l.. To appoint Mrs. María Magdalena Balcells González as Chairman of the Board of Directors, in
replacement and in the same conditions as Ms. Nora Andrea
Fuchslocher Hofmann, from May 23, 2022 to October 1, 2023.
Il. Appoint Mr. Juan Barboza Vega as director, replacing and under the same conditions
in which Mr. Giorgio Macchiavello Yuras, from May 23, 2022
until October 1, 2025.
III… To appoint Ms. Nora Araya Valenzuela as director, replacing and in the same
conditions in which Ms. Gladys Femenías González had been working since 23
May 2022 to October 1, 2025.
