Along with cordial greetings, in accordance with the provisions of article 9 “and second paragraph
Article 10″ of Law No. 18.045 and General Rules No. 30/1989 and No.
284/2010 of the Commission for the Financial Market, duly empowered for that purpose, by
means of this document I comply with informing you, as an Essential Fact
With respect to the company and its business, the following:
Empresa Portuaria Coquimbo, informs that, the SEP Council in session of December 15 of
2022, agreed to approve the resignation submitted by Mr. Carlos Galleguillos Carvajal in charge of
Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Empresa Portuaria Coquimbo, as of 12
December of the present. Therefore, Ms. Michell Vargas Sasmay, assumed on an interim basis, the
Management leadership.
We also communicate that Mr. Aldo Signorelli Bonomo submitted his resignation from the position of
General Manager of Empresa Portuaria Coquimbo, which will be effective as of 31
December of the present.
Meanwhile, the General Management will be assumed on an interim basis from January 1, 2023
by Mr. Julio Vallejos Yáñez.
The matter communicated above as an Essential Fact has no effect on the
