REF.: Informs as an essential fact the resignation of Director.
From our consideration:
In accordance with Article 9? of DFL 251, in conjunction with Article 102 of Law N2
18.045, and Circulars Nos. 662 and N* 991 both of the Commission for the Financial Market, duly
authorized for this purpose, I inform you as an essential fact of Penta Vida Compañía de Seguros de Vida S.A.,
The following:
– In a regular meeting of the Board of Directors held today, Mr. Carlos Lavín Subercaseaux has
communicated his willingness to resign from the company’s board in order to concentrate on its growing
Business activities abroad. The Board of Directors expressed its appreciation to Mr. Lavín for
his human and professional qualities and recorded the gratitude of the Company for his great
contribution to the development and consolidation of Penta Vida.
– For its part, and in accordance with the provisions of Article 32 of Law No. 18,046 on companies
anonymous, in the aforementioned Board meeting it was agreed to vacate the position of director until the next
Shareholders’ Meeting.
