In my capacity as General Manager of Parque Arauco S.A. (the “Company”), in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 and second paragraph of Article 102 of the Securities Market Law and General Rule No. 230 of the Financial Market Commission, and duly empowered for this purpose, I hereby communicate to you as an Essential Fact the following:
That today has been made in the local market through the Santiago Stock Exchange, under the modality of Dutch auction, a placement of Bonds of Parque Arauco S.A. corresponding to the AF Series charged to the line of bonds registered in the Securities Registry under No. 1025.
The Series AF Bonds were placed for a total amount of 3,000,000 Development Units, maturing on March 1, 2044 and at an average placement rate of 3.15% per year.
