By means of the present and in compliance with the provisions of article 9 and the second paragraph of article 10 of
Law No. 18,045 on the Securities Market and the provisions of Article 18 of Law No. 20,712, we communicate to you at
as an ESSENTIAL FACT, that at the Special Meeting of the Board of Directors held today:
a. Mrs. Javiera Lira Sommer presented her resignation from the position of director of NVS General Administrator of
Fondos S.A., for personal reasons. In consideration of the foregoing and the provisions of Article 32 of the Law
N? 18.046 and Article 71 of its Rules of Procedure, the Board of Directors agreed to appoint as a substitute director and until
the next Ordinary Shareholders’ Meeting, date on which the entire Board of Directors must be renewed, to Mrs.
Verena Horst von Thadden.
b. Mr. Rodrigo Oyarzún Morel presented his resignation from the position of general manager of NVS Administradora
General de Fondos S.A. In consideration of the foregoing, and the provisions of Article 49 of Law No. 18,046, the
Board of Directors agreed to appoint Mr. Eduardo Muñoz Marín as General Manager of the Company, who will assume
