In compliance with the provisions of articles 9% and 10% second paragraph of the Law on
Securities Market and General Standards N*30 and 364 of this Commission, and
being duly authorized, I comply with informing you as an essential fact
That in an extraordinary meeting of the Board of Directors held on Tuesday, August 16, 2022,
submitted his resignation from the position of General Manager of the National Petroleum Company,
Mr. Julio Aranis Vargas.
The resignation, which is due to strictly personal reasons, will be effective from the
August 19, 2022.
Mr. Aranis thanks the Board of Directors for the trust placed in him, as well as the
collaborators of ENAP for the commitment demonstrated over time
in which he held the position.
The Board thanked Mr. Aranis for his management these months and agreed to appoint in
acting capacity to Mr. Patricio Farfán Bórquez, current Deputy General Manager, who
serves as Corporate Manager of Refineries.
