PRESENT
In compliance with the provisions of articles 9% and 10% second paragraph of the Law on
Securities Market and General Standards N*30 and 364 of this Commission, and
being duly authorized, I comply to inform you as an essential fact
that due to the complex situation that has affected the company in recent days,
product of the access intake of our Biobío refinery and the San Maritime Terminal
Vicente by contractor workers associated with Fenatrasub, with the purpose of
Ensure the safety and integrity of its workers and facilities, for an event of
force majeure, we have been forced to stop all our
Logistics and fuel distribution operations that we carry out from these
points.
This is an unprecedented situation for the company and we have given the corresponding notice to the
different authorities in accordance with our legal and regulatory obligations, reporting
that the company from today does not have the necessary logistics services to
dispatch and / or supply gasoline, diesel and domestic kerosene, among others. This implies
that the company cannot make deliveries of products to its customers with the risk of
Shortage.
The company has made every effort to maintain the supply chain of
fuels and fulfill its strategic function for Chile, but the safety of
people and our facilities is the first thing we must watch. Based on the
and given that in the current situation this becomes unsustainable, along with the risks
that entails for operations, we had to make this determination.
We reiterate the critical and strategic role that ENAP, as a state enterprise, fulfills
for the country, providing the necessary fuel for citizens to mobilize and
so that the industrial sector, land, sea and aviation transport can operate.
