Dear Sir or Madam:
In accordance with the provisions of article N*9 and second paragraph of article N%10 of the Law on
Securities Market, in General Standard N930 and Circular N*660, both of the Commission,
and duly authorized to that effect, I allow myself to inform you as an Essential Fact of the
next:
The Board of Directors of the Company, in Ordinary Session N*1,005, held on March 28, 2023,
agreed to propose to the next Ordinary Shareholders’ Meeting, to be held on April 18, 2023,
pay the final dividend N%93, amounting to US$ 0.30 per share, charged to the profits of the
fiscal year 2022 and to be paid on April 27, 2023, by electronic transfer or in the
offices of the Society, Calle Camino Nos a Los Morros N*66, commune of San Bernardo, Region
Metropolitan. It is noted that of the US$ 0.30 proposed to be paid as a final dividend
total, US$ 0.10 were paid as a provisional dividend to shareholders, dated 22
December 2022.
Dividends shall be paid in United States dollars or Chilean pesos at
Election of shareholders, in accordance with the following procedure:
(a) Those shareholders who wish to be paid the respective dividends in
dollars, must be requested in writing to the Company (i) by means of email, addressed to
box accionistasíQmolymet.cl or (ii) personally or through an authorized representative
by means of a power of attorney granted before a notary, in the offices of the Company’s Shares Department,
located in Camino Nos a los Morros N*66, commune of San Bernardo, Metropolitan Region, in
any case no later than the fifth working day preceding the date established for the payment of the
respective dividend, that is, until April 21, 2023. These shareholders will receive the payment of
dividends by depositing them in the bank current account in dollars that they have indicated
in the respective communication or, in the absence of such indication, by means of a nominative dollar cheque,
in the name of the holder of the shares, from the day of payment agreed by the Board of Directors, who may
be picked up between 09:00 hours and 17:00 hours at the offices of the Department of Actions of
the Society, located in Camino Nos a Los Morros street N*66, commune of San Bernardo, Region
Metropolitan, prior identification of the shareholder with their respective identity card. The
Shareholders who wish to make the payment through a proxy must do so by means of a power of attorney
Granted before a notary. It will be understood that those shareholders who do not request payment in dollars in
the manner and opportunity indicated have irrevocably chosen to receive payment in pesos; and
(b) Those shareholders who have not requested payment in dollars or who wish to have it made
The payment of dividends in pesos, will receive the payment in its equivalent in national currency, according to the
Value in pesos of the dollar observed on April 21, 2023, through the issuance of check
nominative, in the name of the holder of the shares, from the date of payment agreed by the
Board of Directors, between 09:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the company’s offices, located in Camino
Nos a los Morros N*66, commune of San Bernardo, Metropolitan Region. Notwithstanding the foregoing,
to those shareholders who have so requested, by email to
