Ref.: Essential Fact – Summons to Extraordinary Shareholders’ Meeting.
Madam President:
In accordance with the provisions of Article 9% and second paragraph of Article 10% of Law No. 18,045 of
Securities Market, and the provisions of Circular N* 991 of that Commission, and in exercise of the powers that are given to me
have conferred, I communicate to you, as an Essential Fact, that the Board of Directors of MetLife Chile Seguros of
Vida S.A., hereinafter the “Company”, agreed to call an Extraordinary Shareholders’ Meeting to be held on the day
April 28, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., which will be held at the offices of Agustinas N* 640, 22nd Floor,
Commune of Santiago, in order that the shareholders pronounce themselves on the following matters:
a) Modify the bylaws, in order to extend the term of the Board of Directors to 2 years,
as well as to establish that the directors shall be remunerated for the performance of their functions,
amending to this effect the Seventh and Eleventh articles of the bylaws.
b) Adopt all necessary measures to implement the resolutions adopted by the Extraordinary Meeting
of Shareholders.
For having the assurance that one hundred percent of the issued shares will attend, the publications of
call.
Likewise, the Board of Directors agreed that if at the date of the Meeting it is not possible for shareholders to participate in
In person, participation will be allowed through the use of technological means that the Company will enable
for this purpose in accordance with the provisions of NCG N*435 and Circular Letter N*%1141 of your Commission.
