VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA–(Marketwire – Nov. 18, 2011) – Methanex Corporation
(TSX:MX) (NASDAQ:MEOH) (SANTIAGO:Methanex) announced today that its Board of Directors
has declared a quarterly dividend of US$0.17 per share that will be payable on December 31, 2011
to holders of common shares of record on December 17, 2011.

methanol to major international markets. Methanex shares are listed for trading on the Toronto
