From our consideration:
In accordance with the provisions of Article 9 and the second paragraph of Article 10
of Law No. 18,045, as well as the provisions of Section II of the Character Norm
General N* 30 of your Commission and its amendments, I inform in the capacity of
Essential Fact of Melón S.A. (the “Company”) the following:
As is public knowledge, solid bulk conveyor belts and others
facilities of Puerto Ventanas suffered a fire, under which
Sites 1, 2, 3 and 5 of the port are disabled. It’s important

Melón S.A. has made constant follow-up with the authorities of the Port of

As of today, Melón S.A. personnel have been authorized to access the port and

clinker imported to our milling plant located in the vicinity of the Port
