Dear Madam President:
In accordance with the provisions of Article 9 and paragraph
second of Article 10% of Law N* 18.045 and in General Rule N* 30,
I would like to inform your Commission as an Essential Maritime Fact of
Inversiones S.A. the following:
In today’s session, the Board of Directors of the Company, on the occasion of
of the death of our beloved President Mr. Juan Antonio Alvarez Avendaño (f),
decided not to appoint a new Director for the time being.
In addition, at the same Meeting, the Board of Directors of the Company
appointed Mr. Luis Grez Jordán and Mr. Baltazar Sánchez Guzmán as President and
Vice Chairman of the Board respectively
