In accordance with the provisions of Article 9 and the second paragraph of Article 10 of Law No. 18,045, and the provisions of General Standard No. 30, duly authorized by the Board of Directors in a meeting held on this same date, I inform the Financial Market Commission, as an ESSENTIAL FACT of LATAM Airlines Group S.A. (“LATAM” or the “Company”), The following:
– As informed, LATAM began a reorganization process in the United States of America in accordance with the rules established in Chapter 11 of Title 11 of the United States Code, filing a voluntary application for protection thereunder (the “Chapter 11 Procedure”).
– As part of the reporting obligations that LATAM has to comply with within the Chapter 11 Procedure, there is the preparation and delivery of a monthly report called MOR for its acronym in English Monthly Operating Report (“MOR”).
– By virtue of the above, we make available to your Commission and the market in general, the MOR corresponding to the month of August 2022, issued today included in the following link https://www.latamreorganizacion.com/publicaciones/.
– The REM does not in any way replace the financial information that the Company regularly submits in accordance with applicable securities standards and/or regulation and has been prepared for the sole purpose of complying with the obligations under Chapter 11 Procedure.
