In accordance with the provisions of Article 9 and the second paragraph of Article 10% of the Securities Market Law, and General Rule No. 30, duly authorized, I hereby inform you of the following ESSENTIAL FACT of LATAM Airlines Group S.A. (‘LATAM’ or the ‘Company’), registration Securities Registry No. 306:

The Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York (the “Bankruptcy Court”) hearing the reorganization proceeding (the “Chapter 11 Proceeding”) of LATAM and certain of its direct and indirect subsidiaries (together with LATAM, the “Debtors”) under Chapter 11 of Title 11 of the United States Code, has hereby confirmed the reorganization and financing plan (the “Reorganization Plan” or the “Plan”) proposed by the Debtors to successfully emerge from Chapter 11 Proceedings. The Plan had previously been approved by the vast majority of creditors whose claims are affected by the Plan.
The confirmation of the Plan by the Bankruptcy Court represents the last milestone of Chapter 11 Proceedings in the United States of America. It is now necessary to implement in Chile the corporate acts necessary for the purpose of successfully completing the exit of the Debtors from Chapter 11 Proceedings. To this end, in the coming days the Board of Directors of the Company will convene its shareholders to an extraordinary meeting of shareholders for the purpose of pronouncing on the capital increase, the issuance of payment shares and the issuance of bonds convertible into shares contemplated in the Reorganization Plan, which will be duly informed through the corresponding media in accordance with the applicable regulations.
LATAM plans to complete its exit from Chapter 11 Procedure during the second half of 2022.
The Company will keep its shareholders, creditors and the market informed about the progress of the Chapter 11 Proceeding.
