Dear Madam President:
In compliance with the provisions of Article 9 and the second paragraph of Article 10 of Law No. 18,045 on the Securities Market, as well as General Rule No. 30 of its Commission, the undersigned, duly authorized for that purpose, informs as an essential fact of CLÍNICA LAS CONDES S.A. (the “Company”) the following:
On this date, the Company has learned that Union No. 1 rejected the offer presented by the Company having voted in favour of the strike, within the framework of the current collective bargaining process. Consequently, in accordance with the applicable labour legislation, within the next four days the mandatory mediation period will begin so that the respective Labour Inspector, within five days of requesting his intervention, facilitates the agreement between the parties, without prejudice to the extensions that the Company and the Trade Union may agree for the continuation of the Labour Inspector’s efforts.
Likewise, it is noted that the Company has a contingency plan in the event that the negotiations fail and the strike becomes effective.
