In accordance with the provisions of Articles 9 and 10 of Law No. 18,045 on the Market
of Securities and the provisions of Chapter 18-10 of the Updated Collection of
Rules of the Commission for the Financial Market (“CMF”), I inform you on
Essential Fact of Itaú Corpbanca (the “Bank”) detailed below:
In a regular meeting held yesterday, the Board of Directors of Itaú Corpbanca (the
“Bank”) took cognizance and resolved to accept the resignation of the director Mrs. Leila
Cristiane Barboza Braga de Melo, which is effective from that date.
Also, and in accordance with the provisions of Article 9? of the statutes, the Board of Directors
of the Bank resolved that the alternate director, Mrs. Tatiana Grecco, assume as
Principal Director until the final appointment of the replacement of the
Mrs. Leila Cristiane Barboza Braga de Melo.
