In accordance with the provisions of Articles 9 and 10 of Law No. 18,045 on the Market
of Securities and the provisions of Chapter 18-10 of the Updated Collection of
Rules of the Commission for the Financial Market (“CMFE”), I inform you on
Essential Fact of Itaú Corpbanca (the “Bank”) detailed below:
In a regular meeting held today, the Board of Directors of Itaú Corpbanca took
knowledge of the resignation of Mr. Jorge Andrés Saieh Guzmán to the position of director
of the Bank, which is effective as of this same date.
In consideration of the above, it is reported that the Board of Directors of Itaú Corpbanca resolved
elect as its President the director Mr. Ricardo Villela Marino and as its
Vice-President, Mr. Milton Maluhy Filho.
Finally, and in accordance with the provisions of Article 9 of the Bylaws, the Board of Directors.
of the Bank decided that the alternate director, Mr. Álvaro F. Rizzi Rodrigues, should assume
as titular director until the final appointment is made at the next Meeting
