In accordance with the provisions of Articles 9 and 10 of Law No. 18,045 on the Market
of Securities and the provisions of Chapter 18-10 of the Updated Collection of
Rules of the Commission for the Financial Market (“CMFE”), I inform you on
Essential fact that I detail below, relating to the business of the Bank.
With this date, after having obtained the regulatory approvals of the
banking supervisors in Chile and Brazil, and in compliance with the provisions of the
Transaction Agreement concluded between Itaú Corpbanca (the “Bank”), Itaú Unibanco
Holding S.A., CorpGroup Interhold SpA and Inversiones Gasa Limitada dated 29
January 2014, as amended on June 2, 2015 and January 20, 2015
2017 (the “Transaction Agreement”), Itaú Corpbanca proceeded to acquire all of
the shares of MCC Asesorías SpA, as well as in conjunction with its subsidiary Itaú
Asesorías Financieras Ltda., all the shares of MCC S.A. Corredores de
Bag. All of the above, for a total price of US$30,508,338 (thirty million)
five hundred eight thousand three hundred and thirty-eight United States dollars of
America).

improper merger with Itaú Corpbanca, which absorbs that company when it meets on
100% of the shares owned by you in the Bank. Additionally, with this same

Stock Exchange, agreeing to merge by incorporation into Itaú Corredores de Bolsa Limitada.
Thus, Itaú Corredores de Bolsa Limitada remains as a subsisting entity,
settling in it the totality of the patrimony, rights, obligations, assets and
liabilities of the company MCC S.A. Corredores de Bolsa, which consequently, is

dissolves and is absorbed by Itaú Corredores de Bolsa Limitada and which will be the
legal successor of MCC S.A. Corredores de Bolsa.
