From our consideration:
By means of this, and in accordance with the provisions of Article 9 and second paragraph of Article 10 of Law No. 18,045, and duly authorized for this purpose by the Board of Directors of INVERSIONES LA CONSTRUCCIÓN S.A. (the “Company” or “ILC”), I communicate to you, as an essential fact of the Company, the following:
On this date, the Company entered into an operation, carried out through transactions in the international market, to acquire bonds that ILC issued and placed under Rule 144-A and Regulation S of the Securities and Exchange Commission of the United States of America, under the Securities Act of 1933. of the United States of America, for a nominal amount of US$ 13,500,000, which were acquired in the total amount of US$ 11,367,750.
As a result of the above, it is estimated that the operation should generate a payment to the Company’s results of the order of M$ 1,707,484 before taxes.
