In accordance with the provisions of Articles 9 and 10, second paragraph, of Law No. 18,045 and the provisions of General Standard No. 30 of the Commission for the Financial Market (the “CMF”), in exercise of the powers conferred on me, I inform you, as an essential fact of Enel Américas S.A. (the “Company”) that, having elapsed the period of 90 days contemplated in the applicable regulations since the submission by the Company of Form 15F to the Securities and Exchange Commission of the United States of America and that was informed in essential fact dated November 2, 2022 and, having fulfilled all the requirements for it, the Company has been deregistered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of the United States of America.
As a result of the foregoing, Enel Américas S.A. ceases to be governed by the Sarbanes Oxley Act and complementary U.S. legislation as of today.
