In accordance with the provisions of Articles 9 and 10, second paragraph, of Law No. 18,045 and the provisions of General Rule No. 30 of the Commission for the Financial Market and, in exercise of the powers conferred on me, I inform you, as an essential fact, of the following:
In view of the financial results of Enel Américas S.A. (the “Company”), the requirements for the origin of the provisional dividend contemplated in the current Dividend Policy and which was presented at the Ordinary Shareholders’ Meeting of April 26 of the current year were not met, and, in this way, the aforementioned dividend will not be distributed.
