In accordance with the provisions of Articles 9 and 10, second paragraph, of Law No. 18,045 and
to the provisions of General Standard No. 30 of the Commission for the Financial Market
(“CMF”), and in exercise of the powers conferred on me, I inform you, as
essential fact, which, as of today, Enel Américas S.A. (the Company), has entered before the
Securities and Exchange Commission of the United States of America (“SEC”) Form 15F whose

Act of 1934, as amended (the “Exchange Act”), and terminate, among others, its obligations
of disclosure under Section 13(a) and Section 15(d) of the Exchange Act. Consequently, once
