In accordance with the provisions of Article 9 and the second paragraph of Article 10 of the Law
18.045 of the Securities Market, as well as the provisions of General Standard N230 of the
Commission for the Financial Market, duly empowered to do so, I come to inform that in
meeting held on this date, the Board of Directors of Empresa Eléctrica de la Frontera S.A. (the
“Company”) learned of the resignation from the Board of Directors of the Company
Christopher Powell, Stacey Purcell and Waldo Fortín. The Board then proceeded to appoint,
in his place, Shama Naquashbandi, Stephen Best and Luz Granier.
