Huachipato S.A., hereinafter the “Company”, hereby communicate to you as
Essential fact the following:
In an ordinary session held yesterday, Mr. Roberto De Andraca Adriasola presented his
resignation from the Presidency of the Board of Directors of the Company, which he made effective in
immediate. Mr. De Andraca will maintain his position as Director of the Society.
At the same meeting, in accordance with the bylaws, the Board of Directors elected Mr.
Julio Bertrand Planella as the new President.
