Dear Sir or Madam:
Hereby, in accordance with the provisions of Articles 9 and 10 of the Securities Market Law, in
General Standard N*30 and Circular N*660 of 1986, both of your Commission, duly
authorized to do so, I inform you of the following Essential Fact regarding Compañía Electro Metalúrgica S.A. (the
“Society”):
At the Board Meeting held today, it was agreed to summon the Ordinary Shareholders’ Meeting of the
Company (the “Board”) for April 12, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at Hendaye N*60, 15th floor, Las Condes,
Santiago, in order to know and pronounce on the matters indicated:
1) Approval of the Report, Balance Sheet, Financial Statements and report of the External Audit Company
corresponding to the financial year 2022.
2) Distribution of profits and determination of dividend policy.
3) Election of the Board of Directors.
4) Determination of the Board’s remuneration for the financial year 2023 and report of the Board’s expenses
corresponding to the financial year 2022.
5) Report of activities and expenses of the Directors’ Committee and determination of the remuneration and budget of
expenses of the Directors’ Committee.
6) Account of the information provided for in Title XVI of the Law of Corporations.
7) Designation of the External Audit Firm.
8) Designation of Risk Classifiers.
9) Determination of the newspaper in which the social publications should be made.
10) Other matters of social interest within the competence of the Ordinary Shareholders’ Meeting.
The shareholders who
are entered in the respective Register at midnight on the fifth working day preceding the day of its celebration, is
that is, registered at midnight on April 4, 2023.
The notices of convocation will be published in the newspaper “Diario Financiero”, on March 31, 5
and April 11, 2023.

In addition, the Board of Directors agreed to propose to the Board the distribution of a dividend, N*272,
Definitive, of $248.95 per share, charged to earnings for the year ended December 31, 2022,
that would be paid on April 26, 2023 in favor of the shareholders who are registered in the Registry of
Shareholders of the Company at midnight on April 20, 2023.
