Ref: Communicate Essential Fact
From our consideration:
By means of and pursuant to the provisions of Articles 9? and 10″ of Law 18.045 and in the
circular N*662, we inform you, the following essential fact referred to General Insurance Company
Huelén S.A.:
In accordance with the provisions of article 68 of DFL N*251, I report that it has been found that in the month
In March 2022, there was a temporary deficit of representative technical and equity investments
of risk amounting to M$546,058. This situation arose mainly due to a
concentration of investments in term deposits, a short-term investment, easily liquid and
convertible into cash, taken in the same banking institution, to which the limit was not applied
set out in point (c) of No. 9.2, set out in | NCG N*152.
The above is maintained and will be solved within the month of May 2022, in order to diversify the
investment portfolio and comply with current regulations, through term deposits in different
financial institutions, applying the corresponding limits.
Additionally, as evidenced in this essential fact, this Company implemented new
Internal control measures in order to fully comply with the rules governing this matter.
