Ref. Appointment of a new director.

COMPAÑÍA DE SEGUROS DE VIDA CAMARAS.A., (the “Company”), hereby virtue of
of the provisions of article 92 and second paragraph of article 102 of Law 18,045, and in the
Circulars 662 and 991 of that Commission, communicates as an essential fact the following:
In accordance with the power conferred in Article 32 of the Law on Corporations,
the Board of Directors of the Company, in an ordinary meeting held yesterday, has appointed
as the new director Mr. Ignacio González Recabarren, who will remain in his position
until the next ordinary meeting of shareholders, replacing Mr. Christopher Jimeno
Chadwick, whose resignation from the Board of Directors was reported to that Committee for essential fact of
Date September 26 of this year.
