In accordance with the provisions of Law No. 18,045 and General Standard No. 30 of the Commission for the Financial Market, I inform you, as an essential fact, that after the significant death of two contract workers in tasks of our Vice Presidency of Projects, in less than two weeks, Codelco initiated the process of suspension of operational activities of said Vice Presidency to review the controls and safety standards. labor in order to protect the life and integrity of all workers, a fundamental value for our Corporation.
The effects of this suspension are limited and do not affect production.
