Dear Sir or Madam:
By virtue of the provisions of article 9 and article 10 second paragraph of the Law of
Stock Market, I communicate to you as essential information that in session of the
today the Board of Directors of Empresas CMPC S.A. (“the Company”) resolved that, nevertheless
40% defined, in consideration of the positive evolution of business throughout the year,
with respect to the Distributable Net Income for the year 2022, it will distribute 60%.
Additionally, it was agreed to distribute a provisional dividend No. 280 of US$ 0.08 (zero
zero point eight United States dollars) per share, as of the 12th day of
December 2022, charged to Distributable Net Income for 2022.
This dividend may be paid in Chilean pesos or in United States dollars.

a) Those shareholders who choose to receive the payment of the provisional dividend in dollars
of the United States of America, must expressly request it from the Company through
of a request sent to the Actions Department of the ESTA no later than the fifth business day
prior to the date of payment of the dividend, by email addressed to
[email protected]. In this request, the shareholder must indicate the account details
