In accordance with the provisions of articles 9 and 10, third paragraph, of Law 18,045 on the Securities Market and in General Rule number 30 of that Commission, duly authorized, I inform you that on this date CMPC signed a document in Portuguese called “Termo de Fechamento”, through which it took control of the forestry and industrial assets of the pulp business, paper and paper bags of the company Iguacu Celulose, Papel S.A., located in the states of Paraná and Santa Catarina, Brazil, whose acquisition was informed to the market through an essential event dated December 8, 2021. The indicated takeover took place under the terms and conditions described in the aforementioned communication.
