Dear Sir or Madam:
Being duly empowered to this effect and in
compliance with the provisions of Articles 9 and 10 of Law No. 18,045 on the Market
of Values, I hereby communicate to you, as an essential fact with respect to
Compañía Portuaria Mejillones S.A. which, in an extraordinary Board meeting
held on June 29, it was learned that the company terminated, by
mutual agreement, to the services of Mr. Alvaro David Tomic-Obrdal as general manager
of the company, as of July 1, 2022.
The Board of Directors also appointed Mr. Ronnie Alejandro Agurto Geoffroy as manager.
Interim General as of July 1, 2022.
