In accordance with the provisions of the final paragraph of Article 9 of D.F.L. N*251, in relation to the
Article 10 of Law N*18.045 on the Securities Market, and in Circular N* 991 and NCG N?* 30,
both of the Commission for the Financial Market (the “Commission”), we communicate to you how
Essential Fact of Zurich Chile Seguros Generales S.A. (the “Company”, the following:
As of December 30, 2022, Zurich Insurance Company Ltd., controller of the Company,
subscribed and paid, through the local shareholder Inversiones Suizo Chilena S.A., the amount of
12,962,963 shares issued by the Company on the occasion of the capital increase agreed at the Meeting
Extraordinary Shareholders’ Meeting held on August 16, 2022, approved by the Committee through
Exempt Resolution No. 7202 of the Commission dated November 3, 2022.
The total price paid for the shares indicated amounted to the sum of $ 3,500,000,010 (three thousand
five hundred million ten pesos) reaching Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. to have a stake
indirect shareholding in the Company of 96.16% of the capital subscribed and paid to date.
