In accordance with the provisions of the final paragraph of Article 9 of D.F.L. N*251, in relation to the
Article 10 of Law N*18.045 on the Securities Market, and in Circular N* 991 and NCG N? 30,
both of the Commission for the Financial Market (the “Commission”), we communicate to you how
Essential Fact of Zurich Chile Seguros Generales S.A. (the “Company”) the following:
As of November 30, 2022, Zurich Insurance Company Ltd., controller of the Company,
subscribed and paid, through the local shareholder Inversiones Suizo Chilena S.A., the amount of
3,054,194 shares corresponding to the remainder of shares issued by the Company on the occasion
of the capital increase agreed at the Extraordinary Shareholders’ Meeting held on October 29,
2020, approved by the Commission through Exempt Resolution N? 2027 dated March 29, 2022.
The total price paid for the shares amounted to the sum of Ch$995,667,244, reaching
Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. to have an indirect shareholding in the Company of the
95.86% of the subscribed and paid-up capital to date.
