Dear Sir or Madam:
The undersigned, in his capacity as Chairman of the public limited company CGE GAS NATURAL S.A. (in
hereinafter “CGE GAS NATURAL” or the “Company”), both domiciled at Regidor N*54, Las Condes,
by virtue of the provisions of Articles 9 and 10, paragraph 2, of Law No. 18,045 on the Securities Market and the
General Rule N* 30 of this Committee, communicates that the Board of Directors of the Company in its
today’s session, agreed to supplement the Essential Fact reported on August 5, 2022,
communicating the following:
That with this same date it has become aware that the subsidiary Metrogas S.A., has disclosed to the market
a supplement to its essential fact of 5 August 2022 to the Commission for the Financial Market
(“CMF”), in relation to the judgment of first instance issued by the Federal Judge in the Republic
Argentina.
That through the complement Metrogas has reported that the analysis of the aforementioned judgment
it may be inferred that Metrogas has been ordered to pay Transportadora de Gas del Norte S.A. the sum
of US$ 250 million, for invoices and damages, plus costs and
interest, arising from gas transport contracts that were affected by the interruption
of supply from Argentina, estimating that the accounting effect of said result will have an impact
negative in the quarterly financial statements of Metrogas S.A. at the end of September 2022 of US$
240 million, in profit (loss).
