From our consideration:
By means of the present and in accordance with the provisions of articles 9 “and 10” of Law 18.045 and in
Circular N* 662 and Circular N* 991 of the Commission for the Financial Market, as well as in the others
pertinent regulations, we inform you of the following Essential Fact regarding Cesce Chile Aseguradora
S.A.:
That, at the end of December of this year, a deficit in investments has been detected
representing technical reserves and risk equity in the amount of MM CLP $877, a deficit of
net worth over risk equity, registering a value of 0.64 and consequently a deficit of
minimum equity of MM CLP 1,130, the above registered as of November 30, 2022.
In accordance with the provisions of Title IV of Decree with Force of Law N* 251, we can inform
that the reasons that generated the deficit correspond mainly to the high accident rate that has
registered this company.
Likewise, in accordance with the aforementioned regulations, it is noted that this company is located in
capital increase process, so that on December 21 of this year the CMF was entered into the
Application for authorization to modify the statutes of capital increase for an amount of
2,632,359,000 pesos.
