REF: Informs Dividend Proposal
From our consideration:
In compliance with the provisions of Articles 9 and 10, second paragraph, of Law No. 18,045 on the Securities Market, General Standard No. 30 and Circular No. 660 of the Financial Market Commission, being duly empowered to do so, I come to inform as an Essential Fact that the Board of Directors of Compañía Cervecerías Unidas S.A., At its meeting held today, March 8, 2023, it agreed to propose to the next Ordinary Shareholders’ Meeting the distribution of a final dividend of Ch$9,164,340,025 corresponding to 7.76% of the distributable net profit for the year ended December 31, 2022, amounting to Ch$118,168,351,124, which implies a distribution per share of Ch$24.80181.
This final dividend is of an additional nature, which added to the provisional dividend No. 265 paid in December 2022, amounting to Ch$49,919,838,008 and equivalent to 42.24% of the aforementioned net profit, of which Ch$35,450,505,337 is the mandatory minimum dividend and Ch$14,469,332,671 the additional definitive dividend, amount to the total of Ch$59,084,178,033 equivalent to 50% of the distributable net profit for the year ended December 31, 2022.
This definitive dividend will be proposed to be paid as of April 27, 2023 to shareholders who are registered in the respective registry at midnight of the fifth business day prior to that date, that is, at midnight on April 21, 2023.
