Dear Sir or Madam,
By virtue of the provisions of Article 14 of the General Banking Law, Articles 9 and 10 of Law 18,045 on the Securities Market, and Chapter 18-10 of the Updated Collection of Standards for Banks of that Commission, we inform you as an essential fact that, having complied with all the authorizations and proceedings provided for in the regulations in force in Chile and Peru, On July 15 of this year, Bci Peru will begin operations as a multi-operation banking company in Peru.
The operating authorization had been granted by the Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and AFP (SBS) of Peru, through Resolution No. 1440-2022 of April 29, as reported to that Commission on May 3, 2022.
