ESSENTIAL FACT
Dear Sir or Madam:
In my capacity as General Manager of Banco Security, expressly empowered to do so and
in compliance with the provisions of Article 9% and second paragraph of Article 10%,
both of Law No. 18.045, and in Chapter 18-10 of the RAN of the Commission for the
Financial Market, I have come to report on the following essential fact regarding the
Institution I represent:
At the board meeting held on the same date, August 11, 2022, it was agreed
unanimously by the Board of Directors, accept the resignation of Mr. Francisco Silva Silva,
position of director and president of the Society. The board of directors recorded its
thanks to Mr. Silva for his excellent services to the
society, for more than 30 years; (1i) Then he was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors and of the
Society, to the director Mr. Renato Peñafiel Muñoz; and (111) Substitute director elected
Mr. Fernando Salinas Pinto.
We will appreciate having presented this information and give for fulfilled the rules
legal and regulatory regulations that oblige Banco Security to provide it.
The appointment will be reduced to a public deed and published.
