maintaining long-term relationships with large corporate clients and investors, announces that, in
compliance with CVM Instruction number 381, of January 14, 2003, during the period from January to
December 2012, the independent auditors did not provide non-audit related services. PINE adopts the
procedure of limiting the services rendered by its independent auditors in order to preserve the
independence and objectivity of the auditor in accordance with Brazilian and International Standards.
