In my capacity as Director of Shipyards and Maestranzas of the Navy, ASMAR, and by virtue of the
established in Article 9″ and second paragraph of Article 10″ of Law No. 18,045, and being
empowered to do so, I inform you, the following ESSENTIAL FACT.
On August 31, 2022, a Contract has been signed with the “ARMADA DE CHILE”, for the
execution of the ESCOTILLON IV PROJECT, “DEVELOPMENT OF THE DESIGN OF DETAILS AND
MANUFACTURE OF TWO MULTIPURPOSE AMPHIBIOUS TRANSPORT SHIPS FOR THE NAVY
OF CHILE”.
The term of execution of the projects, will be 100 months counted from the date of entry
in force of the Agreement.
